Forever In Our Hearts
Jonathan (Jon) Hall
1989 - 2021
Our chosen child, Jonathan (Jon) was born in Calgary, Alberta on September 6, 1989. He brought much joy to his family, friends, school, church, and recently, rehab communities. We discovered that he was gifted musically, intellectually, and with the ability to make others laugh.
The family moved to Okotoks in 1997 where Jon attended Good Shepherd School and Holy Trinity Academy, graduating in 2007.
He had a good work ethic and enjoyed working on the rigs, as an arborist, and in landscaping.
Jon was proud of his two sons, Carter (7) and Caleb (4). He enjoyed spending time with them at Mom's acreage. He was also a "Fun-cle" to Josiah and Jaydie, his niece and nephew.
Jonathan left this world to go to his heavenly home on September 27, 2021. He had been bravely battling addictions with the help of God, his family, and his Band of Brothers the past 9 months.
He will be deeply missed by his sons Carter and Caleb; and their Mom, Amanda Davidson; his mother Dora; sister Ray Hall (Jaydie and Josiah); Oma Elsie Coolen; his birth family; Richard Manzuk; Dylan; Leah; June; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was predeceased by his Dad, Don Hall, in 2011.
Those wishing to make a donation towards Jonathan's family, in particular his boys, during this difficult time may do so here.
Service of Remembrance will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Okotoks, October 11, 2021, at 4:00 pm. Due to covid restrictions, a live stream will be available on Facebook. Details to follow.
