John Owusu Duodu

With profound sadness and hearts full of gratitude, we announce the passing of our beloved brother John Owusu Duodu who departed this life on August 12, 2026 at the age of 60 to await the resurrection of the dead in Chris for the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bro. John was a devoted man of God whose faith guided every part of his life, he loved the lord sincerely and sought to reflect God’s love through his kindness, generosity, humility and compassion. His faith gave him strength during difficult times and inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family meant everything to John, He was a loving brother, a caring and dependable source of encouragement and support.  His presence brought joy and warmth.

John treasured his friendships; He has a welcoming heart and a special ability to make people feel valued and respected. To his friends, he was loyal, genuine and trustworthy, His friendship was a gift that will never be forgotten.  

Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that John lived a meaningful life centered on God and loves for other. He will be missed by surviving brother Stephon Gideon Duodu, Samuel Duodu and sisters, Grace Duodu, Juliana Duodu and Diana Ansah.

Rest peacefully, my brother. You loved God, you cherished your family and valued your friends. Your race is complete, your faith has been kept, and your memory will remain with us until that day when “the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord”. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
