Jody Alan Mitchell

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jody Alan Mitchell on Monday, July 29, 2024.

He is survived by his son, Jacob Mitchell (Jen Prisnie); mother, Jan May-Mitchell (Rob & son Brad Speers); aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his brother, Brad in 1993 and his father, Bob in 2018. 

Jody went to St. Martha School and then Father Lacombe High School. As a youth, Jody excelled in sports, hockey, soccer, and lacrosse, through the Marlborough Park Community and NEAA.

He married Jennifer Botelho in 1996 and in 2010, they were blessed with Jacob. He worked at Crown Packaging for 20 years. 

A Celebration of Jody’s Life (casual) will be held at Marlborough Park Community Lounge (6021 Madigan Drive NE) on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Instead of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

Jody will be buried in the Rocky View Garden of Peace, with his brother, Brad and dad, Bob.
