Joan Beverly MacKay

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan MacKay, that occurred on Friday, November 1, 2024.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Bob; her children, Christopher (Jen), and Ryan (Irina); grandchildren, Bryden and Morgan. She is also survived by her sister, Lucille Laird; sister-in-law, Tess Montague; nephew, Kyle; and niece, Katie. She was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Monty Montague; brother, Paul Montague; and nephew, Clifford Laird.

Honouring Joan’s request, there will be no funeral service. Joan loved camping and most of all her dogs, Little Bit and Cookie. A special thanks goes to a dear friend of ours, Carol Boyle, who took Joan to Chemo sessions, doctor’s appointments, and  was there for anything we needed.

We miss you Joan, but we will meet again. We love you.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joan to the Cancer Society.
