Jeffrey William Dean Denneny

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey William Dean Denneny, who left us far too soon on May 12, 2025, at the age of 37. Born on March 12, 1988 Jeffrey brought joy, laughter, and warmth into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Oaklynn, his devoted parents Donald and Laura, his sisters Jocelyne and Alysha, and his brothers Eric and Daniel. Jeffrey’s nieces and nephews—Kynley, Kason, Maverick, and Sonny—will deeply miss his playful spirit. He also leaves behind a large extended family and many dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Jeffrey was a man of immense charisma, known for his big personality, infectious laugh, and radiant smile that could light up any room. He had a deep love for sports, passionately supporting the Dallas Stars in hockey, the Cleveland Cavaliers in basketball, and the Atlanta Falcons in football. Ever the spirited competitor, he loved betting with friends and cheering for the underdogs—a testament to his unwavering belief in resilience and hope.

Never one to shy away from playful mischief, Jeffrey had an uncanny ability to push buttons in the most endearing way, often resulting in shared laughter. A joker at heart, Jeffrey loved to play fight, always keeping the mood light and joyful. He had a rare gift for connecting with people, his humor and charm making him instantly likable to anyone he met.

He was a culinary enthusiast whose cooking brought people together—his version of Ethiopian dishes will be remembered fondly and sorely missed. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he excelled in everything he undertook, whether it was painting, roofing, or decorating his home.

Jeffrey had a unique and confident sense of style, often seen in his signature Jordans and tracksuits. He wore his wardrobe with pride, embodying the self-assured and spirited man he was. Jeffrey’s love of music was deeply personal, spanning genres and moods that matched his vibrant personality. Whether it was blasting energetic rap beats or finding solace in soulful melodies, music was his companion and constant source of expression.

A Celebration of Jeffrey’s Life will be held at Evan J Strong Funeral Services North (3625 12 Street NE) on June 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him are invited to gather to share memories, laughter, and stories of a life lived with boundless energy and love.

Jeffrey William Dean Denneny will be forever remembered for the joy he brought into the world, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Jeff
