It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason "Todd" Manason, who left us on November 20, 2023, at the age of 53.
Born on August 20, 1970, Todd spent his early years in the small town of Kirkcaldy, making cherished memories that would shape the rest of his life. He was a beloved son of Eugene, and though his mother passed before him, her love and influence continued to guide him. Todd was a cherished brother to Michelle, Nicole, and Ryan.
After graduating from high school, Todd began his professional journey at Agrium in Carseland, dedicating himself to his work and making lasting connections with colleagues. His strong work ethic and commitment were evident, laying the foundation for a successful career. Later, he continued his professional journey at Suncor in Fort McMurray, where he continued to make a significant impact over two decades.
Beyond his professional achievements, Todd was known for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. His family and friends will forever treasure the memories of growing up together in Kirkcaldy and the countless moments of joy and shared experiences with his cousins.
One of Todd's greatest joys was found in the simple pleasure of walking. He spent hours exploring the streets of Fort McMurray, finding solace and joy in the beauty of his surroundings. His love for walking reflected his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
In addition to his love for walking, Todd developed a keen interest in the stock market. He enjoyed exploring new investment opportunities and was fascinated by the ever-changing dynamics of the financial world. His curiosity and enthusiasm for learning were infectious, and he shared his insights with those around him.
Todd was known for his soft-spoken nature and contemplative spirit. His quiet strength and thoughtful demeanor made him a source of comfort for those who were fortunate to know him intimately. His generosity knew no bounds, and he touched the lives of many through his selfless acts of kindness.
Todd is survived by his loving father, Eugene, and siblings Michelle, Nicole, and Ryan. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, laughter, and unparalleled generosity that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Todd will also be remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews: Grace, Jonas, Ava, Jaedyn, Kieran, and Ellie, who brought additional joy and warmth to his life.
May Todd rest in peace, and may his spirit continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
