Jane Carroll (Manning) Mahon

Jane Carroll Mahon (nee Manning), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, leaving behind her husband Charlie, a son Michael (Isabel), two daughters Sarah (Mike) and Elizabeth (Prateek), and two granddaughters Eleanor and Sylvia, two sisters Anne (Arne) and Mary (Joel), her mother Joanne, and predeceased by her father Ken Manning.

Jane Mahon received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan and devoted her career as veterinarian, caring for cats and dogs and specializing in animal dentistry. She was a respected synchronized swimming judge, a dedicated swimmer in her own right, and a talented knitter, cross stitcher, cook, and an avid, well-read book lover. Her warmth, strength, and dedication touched the lives of many within her family, her profession, and her community.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the ARBI center https://www.arbi.ca/donate which helped so much with her husband’s recovery and supporting her as his caregiver.
