James (Jim) Kerr

Jim was born August 6, 1959 in Calgary, Alberta and passed away peacefully on December 18, 2020 in his hometown at the age of 61 years.

He was a kind and playful soul who brightened everyone’s day with his dimpled smile and quick wit. Respected and intelligent, no challenge ever went unmet and he loved his family more than anything. Jim was an enthusiastic adventurer who loved nature and all that life had to offer.

The next time you ski in the mountains, cast a fishing line, or rejoice in the life you have been given, look up to the sky for an eagle. Over the mountains high above, Jim’s heart and soul will be majestically soaring, watching over those he loved and whose lives he touched.
