Jacoba Fredrika Beatrix (Venter) Jacobs

Jacoba Fredrika Beatrix Jacobs (Venter), passed peacefully on May 23, 2019 in Calgary Alberta at the age of 86 years and 11 months.  Born in South Africa in 1932, Jacoba immigrated to Canada in 2008. She is survived by her children Tinie Ferreira, Ina Hodges, Danie Jacobs, Henry Jacobs, Estelle Truter and Sanet Jacobs; daughter in law Cathy: sons in law Kobus, Nico and Pieter; Jeff and Marina; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and by her siblings Louis Venter Snr and Martha Entres. Jacoba was a loving, brave and appreciative lady with a great sense of humor, who loved life, lived by faith in God and who cared deeply about people. Her kindness and consideration of others touched many lives wherever she went.  We love you Mammie, Ouma and Sister, and we will always cherish your memory. Rest in Peace.
