It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Oliver LaVallie on Thursday September 16, 2021, at Southwood Care Centre in Calgary, AB.
Jack was born in Maple Creek, SK on December 17, 1938. He moved to Calgary, and later retired to Mesa, AZ. He is survived by his 2 children, Rick (Sandra) of Bragg Creek, AB and Zoe of Calgary, AB; and his grandchildren, Travis (Nicki), April, Lisa (Jason), James-Paul, Shane and Brooke.
Jack was a great pipeline welder and pipeliner for many years. He worked all over the world including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Indonesia, as well as, all over Canada and US. Jack’s passions were the Rodeo both CFR and NFR, hockey and golf. Jack had many nicknames which included – Coyote, Jackie and Poopsie. He truly lived life to the fullest. Jack will be sadly missed by his family and many friends he made along the way.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a cowboy charity of your choice in Jack’s memory, he was always giving to the cowboys. We are hoping to have a Celebration of Life in December.
