Hilda Cecilia (Besenhofer) Armstrong

Our dear Mom (Buggy) passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 87. Hilda was born in Wayne, AB in 1937 and raised in Bellevue, AB. Hilda had a successful career in property management but was most proud of her time as General Manager of Southcentre Mall.

Hilda will be lovingly remembered by her three cherished daughters and their families, Laura Fleming, Lisa (Patrick) Jarvis, and Susan (Kip) Reghenas; her love and joy, grandsons Drake Reghenas, Joel and Keaton Hartzell; step-children Ronald (Glenna) Armstrong and Susan (Steve) Laycock and their families; sister Marg Darling and her family; along with other extended family and numerous dear friends.

Having lived a full life, Hilda had lost many close to her, family and friends, but none more precious than her darling husband Frank Armstrong.

We are thankful for the care and compassion she received while in hospice. For those wishing to honour Hilda's memory, donations will be gratefully accepted by Foothills Country Hospice.
