Hendrikus "Henk" Kouwenberg Obituary

Henk Kouwenberg, beloved husband of Barb passed away peacefully on March 24, 2020 at the age of 79 years. Henk will be lovingly remembered by his children Wendy, Hank, Sean and their families, as well as many friends. Henk was born in Vlijmen, Holland on February 6, 1941. He emigrated to Canada through Halifax and settled in Montreal. He met Barb in Montreal were they married. They moved west to Calgary in 1979. Henk was a Tool and Die Maker by trade and was proud of his work. Henk was a long time active member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, and was involved in many Honour Guards. A private family graveside service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery, with a Memorial Mass to be held at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church at a later date.
