Helen Dean Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Annie Dean on July 12, 2021 at the age of 88 years in Strathmore, Alberta.

Helen was born in Castor, Alberta on May 29, 1933 and is survived by her 4 children, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren (with 1 more on the way), as well as numerous extended family. She is predeceased by her son Terry Sitter, and granddaughter Shelby Sitter.

Helen became a strong independent woman who raised her 5 children as a single parent in Calgary. Her passion was truly caring for and raising her many grandchildren, she loved socializing and spending time with friends. Helen will be deeply missed by her daughter-in-law Corinna Werth and son Glen Sitter who was with her until the end.

Graveside service will be held in the Castor Cemetery (Castor, Alberta - Hwy 599 and Range Road 141) on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 1:00pm.
