Heather Lynne Bain

The family of Heather Lynne Bain (nee MacPherson) of Calgary, Alberta is saddened to announce her passing on March 19, 2021 at the age of 61 years, after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Heather was a devoted mother and hockey fan. She enjoyed watching games with family and friends whenever she got the chance. Heather also gifted her son with the opportunity to play hockey where her passion and love of the sport only grew. After her cancer diagnosis, no matter how sick she was, Heather was always determined. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. 

Heather will be lovingly remembered by her sons Conner and Kris; her daughter Trina; her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews; and her sisters Barb and Beth. She will also be dearly missed by her niece Jennifer; her close friend Joanne; her niece-in-law Lateshya; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Heather was predeceased by her infant son Jason; her sister Sharon; and her parents Hugh and Joan MacPherson.

Heather’s children wish to send a special thank you to the staff at Rosedale Hospice Calgary for their care and compassion.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
