Harvey Robert Fry

Harvey Fry passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the age of 82, at the Oilfields General Hospital in Diamond Valley, AB.

Harvey was born on November 20, 1941, in Vermillion, AB. He had four siblings, Lil, Fred, Nadie (Eddy) and Alvin (Mary Ann). Harvey married Eleanor Wemp, in 1964, they had three kids, Mary, Barry, and Wayne (Emily). They have two grandchildren, Brock (Trish) and Tiffany, also three great-grandchildren, Brielle, Harlow and Maci.

Harvey was predeceased by his daughter, Mary, who passed away in 2008, after a long battle with cancer, followed by his wife Eleanor, of 44 years, in 2008 as well.

Harvey then met Margret Walz in 2011, she has three daughters, Wanda (Dan), Elisa (John), and Nadine (Derek) and six grandchildren. Harvey also recently found out that he had an older daughter, Wendy, from a previous relationship, a few years prior to meeting Eleanor. Wendy has 3 kids, Jamie, Craig, Alisha and she has 7 grandchildren.

Harvey enjoyed spending time with the people he loved. He loved golfing, dancing, cooking, camping, travelling and sitting outside in the sun, enjoying a nice cold beverage.

Harvey will be missed dearly by all his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sandholm Community Centre on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.
