Glenn Dunlop Sinclair

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Dunlop Sinclair, our beloved father, who left us peacefully in his 92nd year on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Glenn was predeceased by the love of his life, Yvonne (née Kempthorne), his high school sweetheart and wife of 58 years. Glenn will be loved and greatly missed by his loving family which includes his three children Scott, Jodie and Sharon (Richard), his 9 grandchildren Ian (Jess), Jim (Michaela), Casey, Gina, Luke (Julia), Ty, Sarah, Thomas and Joey, his 3 great-grandchildren Maksas, Clover and Kieran, and his 2 sisters-in-law Karen (Dana) and Dawn (Lynn).

Glenn was born and raised in Paris, Ontario, where he nurtured and maintained many life-long friends. He graduated from Paris District High School and then Ryerson Institute of Technology in Toronto. Glenn and Yvonne married on June 23, 1956, and ultimately settled in London, Ontario in 1968. Glenn was a proud dingaling, working for Bell Canada for close to 30 years. 

Glenn was a very avid and accomplished golfer. He also loved gardening, playing cards, watching the Blue Jays, visiting with friends and family, and traveling. He was, also, an active member of the Siloam United Church in London, for many years. 

Glenn was a loving and devoted husband and father, a wonderful brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, co-worker, friend, and neighbour, who will be missed and remembered dearly by many friends and family. 

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life and Interment will take place at a later date.
