Giuseppe (Joe) Saraceni

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Giuseppe (Joe) Saraceni beloved husband of Mafalda (nee DiStefano) at the age of 90.

Left to cherish wonderful memories of our dad and Nonno are his four kids: Natasha (Frank), Nicholas (Angela), Nita (Ian) and Nola (Blair), his 13 grandchildren: Rene, Eva, Antonio, Daniel, Michaella, Guido, Gabrielle, Santino, Marcello, Sofia, Mattea, Quinn and Ella; brothers, Donato and Domenico (Adriana) in Calgary and sister Michelina in Italy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Calgary and Italy. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Nicola and Grazia, nephew Nicola, as well as sisters Giovanna and Consiglia.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church (corner of Northmount Dr and Northland Dr NW) on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:00 am, with a Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to your charity of choice in Giuseppe’s memory.
