Geoffery James Aitken

Surrounded by his family, Geoffery James Aitken passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the age of 36 years.

Geoff had many talents including modeling, acting, singing and guitar, but was best known as the vivacious drummer for the band InForLife (InForLifeband.com), whose music was played on local radio stations in Windsor, Detroit, Calgary and Berkshire, UK.  Geoff was also a popular jam musician in Calgary and was aptly nick-named “Animal” for his drumming style. He is survived by his parents Lucinda (nee Murphy), and Ken Aitken Jr.; his brothers, Mitchell and Jeremy (Kyla); his niece Cali-Lynn, and his nephew Austen Aiken; his girlfriend, Heather Young, and nephews, Colton and Kayden; his Godparents, (aunt) Marilyn Murphy and (uncle) David Aiken; as well as many aunts and cousins.

Geoff will continue to live on in others through organ donation. We would like to thank the ICU medical team at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary for their expertise and dedication.
