Obituary
We are sad to announce that Garry Kachuik passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023, at the age of 76 years, surrounded by his wife and 3 sons.
Garry was born in Limerick, Saskatchewan in 1946. After growing up in Saskatchewan and marrying his sweetheart Jo-Anne, they set off on a new adventure in Alberta, eventually having 3 boys, they decided to return to Saskatchewan to raise the children in Saskatoon.
Garry enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching English detective shows, and reading.
When the kids were grown, they moved back to Calgary AB, Garry & Jo-Anne followed soon after. Garry's last job turned out to be his dream job at Spruce Meadows.
Garry was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jo-Anne; sons Stan (Jasmyn), Wade (Patricia), and Derick (Sandra); his grandchildren Ava, Lucia, Jestault, Oshyanic, Tavis, and Sawyer; and his great-grandchildren Ceydarae, Asarro, and Alderwyn. We will miss him dearly.
