Frederick Douglas "Doug" Taylor

Doug passed away after a short illness on Friday, December 28, 2018, at the age of 77. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his two daughters, Sandra and Karen. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret; his parents, Fred and Katie; and his brother Jim.

Doug was born in Innisfail, Alberta and worked for Burnco Rock Products for 30+ years, before retiring to enjoy his passion of golfing and spending time up at his trailer in Bergen.

He then went to work part-time for Mike Vail Trucking, until his health began to fail, which also meant he also had to give up his beloved golf, which he missed up the very end.

We will miss dad very much.

A memorial gathering will held be on Friday, January 4, 2019 at The Sierras of Heritage (8535 Bonaventure Drive SE), from 1:00 – 4:00pm.
