Pat Puczko (nee Beal) passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 12, 2026 at the age of 91. She was born in Bellevue, Alberta where she spent her formative years. It was there that she met her future husband, Andy. They were married in the Crowsnest Pass on November 19, 1955. Together they moved to Edmonton where they had five children in the span of just over 5 years. They moved to Calgary in 1961 where Pat has resided ever since.
Pat had many interests including, golf, curling, quilting, playing cards, watching sports on television and travelling with Andy around the world. She was especially proud of her two Hole-in-Ones golfing.
Pat was predeceased by her parents Bernard (1957) and Bertha (Lillian 1984) and her husband Andy (2019). She is survived by her siblings Bernice Albizzati, Norma Ancelet, and Robert Beal; children Gerry (Dina), Maureen (Dave), Brian, Ray (Eileen) and Jim (Davorka); her brother-in-law Tony (Ilene), sister-in-law Margaret (Danny), eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Bethany Care Centre for their kind, respectful and dignified care of Pat. If friends so wish, donations may be made on behalf of Frances Patricia Puczko directly to The Canadian Cancer Society.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive NW, Calgary AB) on Thursday, January 22 2026 11:00 am.
