Frances Fahie

Frances Fahie passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the age of 86 years.

Fran was born in Edson, Alberta.  She moved to Calgary as a young woman where she met and married her husband Ben in 1955, beginning their life together and starting their family.  Family meant everything to Fran.  She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and they will all remember their special times together. Fran enjoyed searching for the perfect antiques and collectibles and was an active member of the Questers Antique Club.  She loved her part time work at Beaver Lumber until her retirement.

Fran was predeceased by her husband, Ben and her son, Tom.  She is survived by her sons David (Cathy) and Sean; her daughter Kathy (David); seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services Ltd. (5502 2 Street SW) on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 4 Street SW) on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow (St. John Paul II Room).
