Faye Masse

Faye Masse passed away peacefully with her devoted husband of 61 years by her side.

Born on December 27, 1943, in Kelvington, Saskatchewan, Faye was the beloved daughter of Tilford and Emma McGinnis.

Throughout her career, Faye worked at DOSCO and later at the City Centre Campus of Mount Royal College. She was a faithful and active member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Parish and belonged to the Catholic Women's League for more than 60 years. Faye was also a dedicated volunteer with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Inn from the Cold, generously giving her time in service to others.

Faye will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Shelley Chaulk (Roger), Lori Masse; her grandson, Brandon (Allison) residing in Gander, Newfoundland.

Faye was predeceased by her parents, Tilford and Emma McGinnis; her brother, Bradley McGinnis; and her sister, Bernice Drozd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Faye's memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia's Parish (321 – 90 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta) on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.
