Esther Elisa Lugo de Gil

Con profundo pesar y tristeza, la familia Gil Lugo comunica el fallecimiento de su amada madre, hermana, abuela, bisabuela y amiga, la señora Esther Elisa Lugo de Gil, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el 28 de junio de 2026, a la edad de 83 años.

Nacida el 5 de noviembre de 1942, Esther Elisa fue hija de los recordados Bárbara (†) y Emiro (†). A lo largo de su vida se distinguió por su amor incondicional hacia su familia, su fortaleza, generosidad y dedicación. Fue una mujer de valores firmes, noble corazón y espíritu servicial, que dejó una huella imborrable en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Fue esposa de su recordado amor Germán Augusto (†) y madre de Mónica del Valle (†); le sobreviven sus queridos hijos Patricia, Mónica, Esther y Germán, quienes hoy honran su memoria con gratitud por la vida, el amor y las enseñanzas que les brindó. Asimismo, recuerdan con cariño a sus yernos Rubén (†), Roberto (†) y Julio, quienes formaron parte importante de su familia.

También dejan constancia de su legado sus adoradas nietas Julieta, Ana Valentina, Camila, Eleana, Adriana y Rubeana, quienes conservarán para siempre los recuerdos, consejos y el amor de una abuela excepcional. Con inmenso cariño la despide también su bisnieta Olivia, una de las más grandes alegrías de sus últimos años.

La recuerdan con profundo afecto sus hermanos Alejandra, Emiro, Betty, Alejandro, Ana Susana, Zulima y Lucía, junto a la memoria de sus hermanos fallecidos Cánovas (†), Freddy (†) y María (†), sus cuñados, sobrinos, primos y demás familiares, con quienes compartió una vida llena de amor familiar, recuerdos entrañables y momentos inolvidables.

Su legado no se mide únicamente por los años que vivió, sino por las vidas que formó, sostuvo y amó. Esther Elisa fue mucho más que una madre y una hermana. Desde adolescente, asumió con amor, fortaleza y entrega el papel de madre para muchos de sus hermanos, convirtiéndose en guía, apoyo y refugio en momentos difíciles. Con el mismo compromiso y sacrificio, fue para sus hijos padre y madre a la vez, dedicando su vida a su bienestar, educación y formación, siempre poniendo las necesidades de su familia por encima de las propias, y el pilar sobre el cual se construyó una familia unida por los valores, la fortaleza y el amor que ella sembró. Su amor incondicional, valentía y capacidad de entrega dejaron una huella imborrable en cada una de las generaciones que tuvieron la bendición de llamarla mamá, hermana, abuela y bisabuela.

Esther Elisa dedicó su vida al bienestar de su familia. Su ejemplo de amor, sacrificio, honestidad y perseverancia permanecerá vivo en cada generación que lleva consigo una parte de su legado. Su presencia fue un regalo para quienes la rodearon, y su recuerdo seguirá iluminando los corazones de todos los que la amaron.

Aunque hoy lamentamos su partida, celebramos una vida plena y significativa, marcada por la entrega a los suyos y por un amor que trascenderá el tiempo.

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that the Gil Lugo family announces the passing of their beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Mrs. Esther Elisa Lugo de Gil, who departed to be with the Lord on June 28, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on November 5, 1942, Esther Elisa was the daughter of the late Bárbara and Emiro. Throughout her life, she was distinguished by her unconditional love for her family, her strength, her generosity, and her dedication. She was a woman of steadfast values, a noble heart, and a spirit of service, leaving an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was the wife of her beloved Germán Augusto (†) and the mother of Mónica del Valle (†); she is survived by her cherished children Patricia, Mónica, Esther, and Germán, who today honor her memory with gratitude for the life, love, and teachings she shared with them. They also remember with affection her sons-in-law Rubén (†), Roberto (†), and Julio, who were an important part of her family.

Her legacy lives on through her adored granddaughters Julieta, Ana Valentina, Camila, Eleana, Adriana, and Rubeana—who will forever cherish the memories, advice, and love of an exceptional grandmother. She is also bid a loving farewell by her great-granddaughter Olivia, one of the greatest joys of her final years.

She is remembered with deep affection by her siblings Alejandra, Emiro, Betty, Alejandro, Ana Susana, Zulima, and Lucía—along with the memory of her late siblings Cánovas, Freddy, and María—as well as her brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives, with whom she shared a life filled with family love, cherished memories, and unforgettable moments.

Her legacy is measured not merely by the years she lived, but by the lives she shaped, sustained, and loved. Esther Elisa was far more than a mother and a sister. From her teenage years, she lovingly and steadfastly embraced the role of mother to many of her siblings, serving as a guide, a source of support, and a refuge during difficult times. With equal commitment and sacrifice, she was both mother and father to her children, dedicating her life to their well-being, education, and upbringing always placing her family's needs above her own. She was the pillar upon which a family was built, united by the values, strength, and love she instilled. Her unconditional love, courage, and selflessness left an indelible mark on every generation blessed to call her mom, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Esther Elisa dedicated her life to the well-being of her family. Her example of love, sacrifice, honesty, and perseverance will live on in every generation that carries a part of her legacy. Her presence was a gift to those around her, and the memory of her will continue to light up the hearts of all who loved her.

Although we mourn her passing today, we celebrate a full and meaningful life, marked by her devotion to her loved ones and a love that will transcend time.
