Eleanor Elizabeth Horst

Eleanor Horst of Calgary, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020 at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her dear sister, Leona Bienert of Leduc, AB, sisters-in-laws Dot Horst of Langley, BC, Marjorie Horst of Kamloops, BC, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She will also be lovingly remembered by her Southview Alliance Church family as well as many other friends. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Elmer (2018), parents Mike and Hazel Stepanko, brothers-in-law Floyd, Willard and sister-in-law Jaqueline. Special thanks to the staff at Father Lacombe Care Center who competently cared for her with kindness and compassion, and to the dear friends who made her life brighter with their regular visits. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services (5502-2 Street SW) on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 11:30 to 12:30. A private graveside service will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
