Douglas Malcolm Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Malcolm Smith, on Wednesday November 6, 2024 at the South Health Campus, with family by his side. 

Doug was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1957, and spent most of his life there and in Calgary. Known as a collector, Doug’s greatest collection was his wonderful friends that he acquired and maintained throughout his life.  They will all miss him greatly. 

He is survived by his sister Karen McPherson (Doug), brother Greg Smith, nieces Jennifer Davey (Chris), and Lisa Quistberg (Gord). Doug is predeceased by his parents Donald and Doris Smith.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a date yet to be determined.
