Dorothy Angelina Paul

It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Paul announce her peaceful passing in Calgary on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the age of 79. She is grieved and will be dearly missed by her loving children: Shirley (Anthony) D’Costa, Stanley (Diana) Paul, Sarah (Sharon) Pereira, and Sandra (Bryce) Barrows; grandchildren Dylan, Shania, Erikah, Rhea, Simon, Samuel, Sasha, Emma, and Declan; and her many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard Paul, her parents Rosy and Pascoal D’Souza, and her siblings Philomena Shaw and Raymond D’Souza.

Dorothy spent most of her life in Pakistan where she was born before migrating to Canada. Her strength, deep faith, and endless love defined her life and the legacy she leaves behind. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Drive SE) on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 am with a Viewing at the church prior to Mass at 10:15 am. A recording of the service is available below for those unable to attend in person. There will be a reception following Mass in the St. Albert the Great Parish Hall.
