A huge priority for Don was his immediate and extended family as he was always there to support or help when needed. Don worked hard building his painting career, eventually becoming one of only a few people in Western Canada to hold the title of Master Painter and as a highly respected inspector across Canada.
Throughout the years Don held various volunteer positions that led to many lives being touched and many friendships made. After growing up with a tough childhood himself, Don dedicated his time and effort to always try to improve kids’ lives through sports, dance, and even around the neighborhood.
Don will leave a Legacy behind as the Founder of N.E. Mohawks Lacrosse, Girls T-ball Hubba Bubbas, Dance Dad, Jokester, Flirt, first person to step up and help and last person to leave. He always had a smile and was proud to be the loudest supporter.
