Dianne Roberts-Mahoney Obituary

It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dianne Lynn Roberts-Mahoney of Calgary, Alberta, on July 17, 2020 at the age of 56 years.

Dianne was born in Neepawa, Manitoba on Dec 29, 1963 to Eric C. Roberts of Neepawa, Manitoba and Margaret J. Roberts of Ontario. She successfully finished a course in Horticulture in 1997 and went on to complete a photography course in 2019 and 2020. Dianne had become an avid photographer, always asking if you could be her next subject. Her family and cat Milo meant the world to her, so often became the focus of her photography.

Dianne is survived by her estranged husband William Mahoney and their three daughters, Cherie Roberts, Mary Roberts and Jessie Mahoney, all of Calgary, Alberta. She is also survived by her sister Catherine Stringer; her brother Dwayne Roberts; her father Eric Roberts; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Dianne is predeceased by her mother Margaret Roberts; her son William Eric Mahoney; and her brother Kenneth Roberts.

Dianne was driven and strong willed throughout her life and passed down these invaluable traits to her children. She would give anything for her family and friends and was always there for those she loved, regardless of whether it be happy or sad times. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with, or someone to help find adventure, she was always there for accompaniment. Dianne was an amazing woman who always made sure the family stayed connected. She would bring us together for meals or just bake for the family. She truly was a strong and beautiful woman that left us far too soon, but she will forever remain in our hearts. Mom, we will always love you and wish for one more day. Till we see u again.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Dianne's life in the picnic area at Pearce Estates Park ING037 (1440 17A Street SE) on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 11:00am - 2:45pm.
