Dennis Andrews

Dennis was born in Torquay Saskatchewan to Armour and Mary Andrews. His three sisters Audrey, Elaine and Shirley adored him. Dennis studied geology at the University of Alberta and worked for Hudson's Bay- Oil & Gas for the majority of his career, including Dome Petroleum and several buyout stints in the same company.

Dennis had a passion for the outdoors and was a lifelong hunter, wildlife photographer, hiking enthusiast and fisherman. He enjoyed volunteering his time with children's outdoor camps and several wildlife associations. Dennis remarried later in life and described his life with wife Sandra Andrews as "perfect". Together they created a beautiful home on an acreage in Millarville, Alberta.

Dennis is survived by his wife Sandra; sisters Audrey and Shirley; children Robert, Trevor, Nancy and Lori and their spouses; stepdaughters Sarah and Emma and their spouses; plus, his eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southwood Hospice for their compassionate end-of-life care.
