Dean Lee Gregory Visser

It is with great sorrow that we mourn the sudden loss of our much loved son, Dean Lee Gregory Visser. Dean was fun loving, crazy fast lacrosse player, an avid dirt bike enthusiast and our sweet son.

Born on August 1, 2007, in Medicine Hat, he joined his parents, Kevin and Ruth, and sister, Elisabeth. Dean attended Calgary Christian School from Kindergarten to Grade 9. He was a student with CBE until June. Similar to many teens his age, Dean struggled with the isolating factors of Covid-19. However, he overcame these obstacles and lived life his way, just as he had done in his early childhood. Dean's zest for life and his adventurous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a beacon of strength, kindness, and enthusiasm, always ready to take on new challenges and make the most of every moment.

Dean was tragically taken from his family on June 6, 2024. He leaves his parents, Kevin and Ruth, and sister, Elisabeth, along with grandparents Frances VanderWekken and Mel and Phyllis Visser, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins to celebrate his life.

Memorial Services will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church (2111 52 Street NW) on June 14, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
