Darryl Flamand

It is with profound sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Darryl Flamand of Calgary, AB at the age of 55 years. He was born November 24, 1965 to parents Cyril and Yvonne Flamand, the youngest of eight children. He is predeceased by his older sisters June and Audrey; and will be lovingly missed by his brothers, Fred, Ken (Monica), Ron, and Wayne (Cathy); his sister April (Vince), and step-sibling Cathy. Darryl will be dearly missed by numerous relatives and friends, and all will notice the loss of his shining light. Darryl was a gracious man, and an example of what it is to truly be a good Samaritan. He lived simply; and without restraint, selflessly gave his heart to all. His legacy of love and compassion for all of God's creatures and life is profound beyond expectation. The world may be a lesser place without him, but the ripple effect of his kindness and goodness will live forever. Goodnight dear brother, you have earned your rest.

In accordance with Darryl's wishes, he will be cremated, his remains returned to Brandon, MB where a private family memorial will lay him to rest at his mother's side.
