Darrel Arthur Ingram

Darrel passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025 at the age of 66. Darrel battled with a lengthy illness, COPD. Darrel began his life in Aachen Germany. On Jan 28,1960 Darrel arrived in Canada by ship with his family at Pier 21 Halifax, Nova Scotia. They travelled by train to Toronto. Darrel and his family lived in Aurora Ontario until he was 6 years old. They travelled West to Calgary, his forever home. Darrel grew up, settled down and set roots here.

Darrel was a wonderful husband, a great dad and an even better grandfather. Darrel will be greatly missed by all. 

His beloved wife Mary, daughter Margaret (Chris), grandchildren Madeline, Charlotte, Conner and Carsen, as well as extended family and friends.

We hold you Darrel, close within our hearts and there you shall remain. To walk with us through our lives, until we meet again.

A Funeral Service will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North (3625 12 St NE) on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 1:00pm followed by a Reception.
