Crystal Lynn Muzyka

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Crystal Muzyka, of Calgary, on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the age of 57 years. Crystal’s sharp wit, large heart, and powerful presence has created a void in our hearts that will never be filled. She always made you feel loved and welcomed, no matter your circumstances in life. That being said, she would never hesitate to tell you how she felt. Crystal is survived by her two sons, Travis Muzyka and Shane Muzyka (Kathryn) of Calgary, AB; brother, Mark Blanchette (Rhonda) of Thunder Bay, ON; and sisters, Beverly Varrin (Pat) of Campbell River, BC, Wendy Blanchette (Don Williams) of Thunder Bay, ON, and Debbie Blanchette of Thunder Bay, ON. She also leaves behind a legacy with her five grandsons, whom she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Alice Blanchette; husband, Paul Muzyka; and sister, Bonnie Cimini. Crystal will be missed by many people, including family, friends, nieces, and nephews. Her impact on everyone’s life was subtle and far reaching. We will always be grateful for the time we had her in our lives.
