Christine Elizabeth Verner

Christine  Verner (nee McPike)  our Scottish lass, born in Glasgow, Scotland on August 20, 1946, left our earthly world in Calgary,  November 16, 2024. Christine was predeceased by her parents Ana and Alexander McPike, brother Francis, and sister  Annemarie. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bob, siblings  Jim McPike  (Patti), Marianne Rowland (Gene), Alex McPike  (Robynne), Kathleen Beierbach (Ken), Margaret McPike (Craig Jones) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces,  nephews, and cousins. 

Christine was gainfully employed in a wide range of activities, general insurance receptionist being the mainstay occupation over a period of several decades. Her wit and constant sense of humour was a welcome feature for her family, friends, and colleagues over the years.  

Thanks and appreciation is extended  to the staff  of Skypointe Hospice for the tender care and attention extended to Christine in her final days.
