Catherine Pearl Walton

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Catherine Pearl Walton on August 26, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta.

Catherine was born in Stettler and raised in Big Valley. She moved to Calgary as a teen, where she later met her husband, Phil, and married in 1964. Catherine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Phil Walton; their four children: Myles, Guy (Colleen), Kim(Rod), Cody (Julie); and their grandchildren: Regan, Meritchell, Wyatt, Lucas, and Nolan. She will also be missed by many extended family and friends.

Cathy will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Father Lacombe Care Centre.

A Prayer Service will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Parish (5340 4 St SW, Calgary) on Friday, September 5, at 5:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Parish on Saturday, September 6, at 9:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow in the Parish hall.
