Catherine "Jane" Dwyer

Catherine “Jane” Dwyer, beloved daughter of Nora and Bernard (Bernie), passed away peacefully in Calgary Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Jane was born on August 26, 1941, in Saint John New Brunswick. As a child, Jane‘s parents moved to Toronto, Ontario where she attended grade school at Saint Vincent de Paul and high school at Saint Joseph’s.

After graduating, Jane enhanced her secretarial skills working for various companies throughout the 1970s, and in the early 1980s, she began working at TransCanada Pipelines (TCPL) as a regulatory executive assistant.

In the late 1980s, TCPL moved their head office to Calgary Alberta, and Jane moved as well with her regulatory team, dividing her time between regulatory proceedings in Ottawa, and the Calgary Office. Jane remained with TCPL until her retirement in 2006.

Jane is predeceased by her parents Nora and Bernie Dwyer of Toronto, Ontario; and best friend Judy Clapson, of Calgary, Alberta. 

Jane is survived by cousin Corrine Kennedy of Dorchester, Ontario; and dear friends Al Haskey, David Yepiz, Barrie Clapson & family, Susan Walker, and Dale Ross.
