Catherine (Cathy) Suzanne McKee

Catherine (Cathy) Suzanne McKee, 67, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at home on March 6, 2026. She was born on July 3, 1958 in Edmonton, AB to Chester and Anne Lazlock. Cathy graduated from the University of Calgary where she studied education with a specialization in early childhood and dedicated her life to nurturing young people. Most significantly, Cathy was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children: Carly McKee-Bertwistle (Josh), Taylor McKee (Brittany), Anyssa Allen (Sean), Rylee Haddow (Spencer), her grandchildren: Freddie and Harriet Bertwistle, Maeve and Sadie Allen, Celeste McKee, and her brother Ron Lazlock (Gail).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Studio Bell, The National Music Centre (850 4 Street SE), on Friday March 20, 2026 at 10:30am.  All are welcome to attend.
