It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carolyn Ruth Turner (nee Deardoff) on November 24, 2020 at the age of 79. Born on March 11, 1941 in Rosalind, Alberta. Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will always be remembered for her unwavering faith and her love for her family and friends.
Carolyn will be lovingly remembered and cherished by many people including: her children, Kim (Alden), Kevin (Sherry), their children Curtis, Ryan, Chad and Kyle (Nancy), their children Alicia, Luke and Emma. She is also survived by her sister Zena Craig; her Sister-in-laws Sylvia, Helen, Doreen, Faye, Carol, Joy and Sonia. Carolyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Howard Turner, her parents Homer and Joretta (Forsyth) Deardoff and her brothers Arnold, Dennis, James and Wayne.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service is being held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
A private celebration of her life will take place sometime in the future when all family members can be safely gathered.
