My beloved Carol, a wife, a mother, an aunt, and a friend to many has spread her wings and taken to the sky.
Carol was predeceased by her parents Staff Sergeant Leonard Grant, her mother Anne Irene and a brother Kurt Grant. Carol lost her youngest son, Alexander, in 2004. Carol is survived by a younger brother, Jim Grant, and a younger sister Barbra Clow. Carol leaves behind an ex-husband Peter Kounadis, children Anthe and Dennis, and grandchildren Peter and Alexandra.
Carol took her first steps in this world in the northern Alberta town of High Prairie. Carol lived in various towns within Alberta as her dad was assigned to R.C.M.P. detachments.
Carol worked in the food service industry for many years, but Carol was most proud of her time as a Letter Carrier with Canada Post.
With a heavy and sore heart I tell the world that my beloved Carol has flown away.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's name to MADD Canada.
Memorial Service will be held in the Lincolnshire Room at the Carriage House Hotel (9030 Macleod Trail), on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
