Carmen Pranke

On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, Carmen Pranke passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family.

Carmen was born in Berlin, Germany, on April 3, 1940. She immigrated to Calgary, AB in April of 1968, with her husband and daughter. Carmen’s personality was like none other, her humour was beyond measure, and she brought laughter to all who knew her. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.

Carmen is survived by her husband Klaus Pranke; daughters, Claudia (Judi) and Carol (Peter); grandson, Derek (Tiffany); granddaughters, Meagan and Jolie; and six great-grandchildren, Kira, Santo, Kyla, Eliano, Thomas, and Valerio. At Carmen’s request, no formal services will be held.
