Byron Peter Wolters of Calgary passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 66. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta on November 18, 1959.
This is a great picture of Byron. This was taken in front of the family property at Shuswap Lake in B.C., which was his favourite place.
Byron was a “Mr. Fix it” as he could fix just about anything in the house and yard. He loved to work with wood, so family and friends have wooden flowers that he made and painted. Family and friends will especially remember him this spring when we all put out our “fairy doors” that he made. Maybe a special fairy will visit this summer.
Byron is lovingly remembered by his mother, Norma, brother Kevin, Aunt Marian, Uncle Reg and cousins.
The family wants to thank the staff at the Colonel Belcher Care Centre for the outstanding and compassionate care he received. He could not have been in a better place.
