Brian John Flynn

Brian John Flynn, 87, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on September 2, 2021, at the Foothills Medical Centre.

Brian was born on November 13, 1933 at “Cambrai” Private Hospital, St.Kilda, Australia to Marie Edith Flynn and John Joseph Flynn. He went on to earn a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Calgary and served as an administrator to the Calgary Catholic School Board.

Brian is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, his foster daughter, and four siblings. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine Theresa Flynn.

Respecting Brian’s final wishes, a funeral service will not be held, to protect the health of his friends and family. Instead, his family asks that you keep him in your prayers and remember him fondly. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
