Brent Mark Derks

“On the day that you were born the angels got together and decided to create a dream come true.

So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair of gold and starlight in your eyes of blue.”

Brent Mark Derks was born on July 16th, 1992. He showed love, compassion and empathy to everyone who crossed his path.

He brought music with him everywhere he went and was a talented piano, drum and guitar player. With him he carried passion for surveying, baseball and sunny family vacations.

Brent’s spirit continues to live on through his family - his incredible parents, Didi and Mark; his beloved siblings, Robyn and Jeffrey; and wonderful, blue-eyed daughters, Jolene and Jaclyn.

Brent’s heart will forever remain with his soulmate and best friend, Gergana (Jerry).

Every star in the galaxy, every blade of grass and gust of wind in the prairies, every note of music that he made, will be reminders of his ever-evolving spirit.
