Bernadette Helena (Sander) Kress

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Bernadette Helena Kress (née Sander). Bernadette was born in Beiseker Alberta on July 4, 1943 and passed away suddenly at the Rockyview Hospital on July 27, 2026. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, sons in laws, grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews, other family and countless friends. Even during challenging times she was always there for others.  Her door was always open to anyone who needed help or just a visit. Her nurturing personality was reflected in her many years of caregiving with her long career in the nursing aide field.

A gathering will be held on August 8, 2026 at the Greater Forest lawn 55+ Centre (3425 - 26th Ave SE, Calgary) between 1:00 and 4:00 pm. Refreshments will be served. Please come with your favourite memory of our mom to share so we can all pay tribute to this beautiful soul❤️
