Bart Roy

It is with heavy hearts that Bart Roy, born July 24th, 1964, passed away at the age of 60 on June 17th, 2025.

He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is survived by his two daughters, Brittney and Cydney, his father, Pierre, his sister Kathy, his brother, Scott, his niece, Robyn (Evan), his nephew, Nathan and great-nephews, Sean, Jesse and Arlo. He is also pre-deceased by his mother, Dolores. 

Bart was an uncommonly kind, gentle and soft person. He was surrounded by family and friends throughout his life and brought beautiful energy to every room he was in. 

Throughout Bart's life, he excelled in his longtime career in tech sales and was an extraordinary businessman. 

He loved fishing, camping, hockey -- especially the Calgary Flames -- and politics. Everyone knew him for his delicious home cooked meals and love of cabbage rolls. 

Bart was an incredible father, son, brother and uncle and will be missed more than can be put into words. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alberta Cancer Foundation to support others in their own battles, is appreciated.
