Barbara Jean (Sirois) Pistawka

Barbara Pistawka passed away peacefully at the Rockyview hospital on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Barbara was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Empress Alberta and shared many great stories of her life growing up at Pine Lake. She is survived by her son Randy (Jan); daughters Bev (Bob) Fournier and Marla Fraiberg (Dale Dickson); grandchildren Erin (Dieter) Granson, Kyle (Chelsea), Alyssa (Brodi ) Johnson, Jared, Isabella, and Leah; great grand daughter Vera; and her brother Ken (Pat) Sirois. Barb was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” and sons Lawrence and Gregory. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 - 34 Street SW) on Friday March 16, 2018 at 11:00 am.
