Ardus Chomyshen Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Ardus Chomyshen announces her passing on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Susan, (Rick) Perkins, Patricia, (Brian) Tooms, and Brent, (Meini) Chomyshen; her grandchildren, Cheryl Dawson, Sheila Lavender, Shelley Loep, Laurie Lea, Joseph Pavich, Jeffrey Pavich, and Russell Chomyshen; also, numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Morley; her brother, Trevor; and her parents, Harry and Evelyn Puschelberg.

Ardus was born on May 21, 1941. She attended school in various towns in Saskatchewan. On November 11, 1960, she married Morley Chomyshen in Hawarden Saskatchewan. In time Ardus and Morley had three children. Ardus was a great homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, sewing, and knitting.

She had a life-long love of dogs and had many dogs during her lifetime.

As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Ardus based her hope for the future on the bible’s promise of a resurrection to life on earth. “When death will be no more “ Rev. 21:3,4
