Angela Caravaggio

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angela Caravaggio, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the age of 92 years. Angela was born in Piano Favaro and moved to Rocca San Giovanni upon marrying the love of her life, Fiore. Together they immigrated to Canada with their three children, Ivana, Rita and Guiseppe on July 5, 1967.

Upon moving to Canada, Angela worked at Beddington Co-op and made many lifetime friends. 

Together with her passion for gardening and cooking, she would create the most incredible home cooked meals that she happily shared with family and friends. Angela and Fiore’s greenhouse was their second home, and their kindness and generosity meant that many curious passersby often left with an arm full of vegetables or plants.

Angela was deeply loved by all those who had the honour of knowing her. She is predeceased by her husband (Fiore), and leaves behind her three children, Ivana (Rosario), Rita (David), and Giuseppe, along with her grandchildren, Angie (Tim), Carmine, Jason (Heather), Stephanie (Gabe), Lucas, and her 12 great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Marisa, Carson, Alessa, Christopher, Giada, Ayla, Kingston, Jackson, Weston, Lennon, and Lake.

Angela leaves behind a legacy of love and happiness. Although she will be deeply missed, we also celebrate the incredible life she led, and all of the loving memories she has left us with.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church (1714 14 Ave NE) on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 am with Interment to follow at Queen's Park Mausoleum.
