Amelia Lau

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Amelia Lau, who peacefully left us on April 4, 2025, 9:42 PM, at the age of 72.

Born on September 14, 1952, in Hong Kong, Amelia was a woman of incredible beauty, grace, and strength. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Amelia’s kindness and loving spirit touched everyone around her, and her calm presence under pressure was something that inspired all who knew her. She always remained composed, even in the most difficult situations, offering a quiet strength and wisdom that we will forever cherish.

Amelia was blessed with four grandchildren, and she cherished every moment spent with them, showering them with love, guidance, and joy. Her deep faith was an integral part of her life, and she loved attending church, where she found peace and strength in her beliefs. Her unwavering faith and devotion to those around her will continue to be an example for us all.

Her beauty was not just in her appearance, but in her heart, a heart that was kind, generous, and full of love. Amelia had a way of making everyone feel valued, heard, and appreciated. She will be missed beyond words, and her legacy of grace, calm, and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Amelia will be forever missed by her children Ray and Ian, grandchildren Zoey, Athena, Jordan, Anson.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (400 Edmonton Tr NE) on April 16, 2025 at 9:00am. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

Amelia’s spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and her example of love, faith, and strength will continue to guide us.
